Scientific and bibliographical department
The main function of this department is to supply faculty and students with all the necessary bibliografical information. The fund contains bibliografical and information Indexes on Science and Engineering.
There are 2 tasks before department :
- Bibliografical service
- bibliografical search and correction bibliografical information;
- composition of Bibliografical Indexes on Science and Engineering
- Training of the students of SPbSTU to bases of Bibliography
The most significant part of the department is The Higher Education Center. The main task of the Centre is information about Foring and Russian Higher Education. The Centre contains a special fund
of books and journals and forms Computerized Information Datebase of documents printed in Russia and Abroad. For this purpose it use normal search and Internet. All information addresses to faculty of tne
University.
Head of department Vera Ananjeva has in 1971 finished Leningrad state institute of culture on speciality.
